Biography

Alexis Gayhart values her clients’ comfort and peace of mind above all else. Serving in the financial services industry since 2004, she has seen how larger firms can fail to give clients the face time and in-depth discussions they desire—that’s why she came to Socius in 2012. As a fully-licensed investment adviser representative and client advocate, she oversees all accounts and is in constant contact with all clients to manage all their day-to-day needs.

With more than a decade of experience working with professional athletes, Alexis also manages operations at Socius’s Pennsylvania office. Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania, she enjoys running, reading, traveling, photography, and spending time with her boxer Baylee.

What inspired you to join Socius?

The ability to be more involved with clients. Coming from a larger wirehouse, it’s great to be able to give our clients the one-on-one attention for something as important as their financial health.

What do you love most about being at Socius?

The fact that we don’t just treat each other as family—we treat our clients as family. That’s really special.

What’s the most gratifying part of your job?

When clients tell us how thankful they are to have us, and how much they appreciate us. Those words don’t go unnoticed.

What book has changed the way you think?

Unbroken by Lauren Hillenbrand, which tells the story of Louis Zamperini, an Olympian runner and WWII airman whose plane crashed into the ocean. It’s an epic true story of perseverance and resiliency.

What’s your favorite food?

Pizza—any kind!
