Despite this expert infrastructure, Socius is not limited by any of the usual trappings that challenge the world's largest firms including a limited candidate source pool (due to scale of clients) and other legacy issues which may limit a particular search's timely execution and ultimate success.

  • Client Consultation, Position Development: Our comprehensive service includes development of the position and organizational profiles. We are not the sort of firm that 'takes dictation' - rather, we facilitate vigorous client discussions and provide consultative input.
  • Comprehensive Research: Exhaustive research is the bellwether of any successful search. To insure our performance, our research leadership offers not only extensive experience but also the highly specialized education credential of a Masters in Library & Information Sciences.
  • Recruitment: Our recruitment methodology is highly-targeted direct sourcing that does not involve reliance on employment ads. Our recruitment approach also includes building knowledge wiki's, developing networks and working with sector centers-of-influence.
  • Diversity & Inclusivity: We are not billed as a diversity search firm, however we do consult with clients on Diversity & Inclusivity leveraging ongoing training in the area of cultural competency.
  • Due Diligence / Referencing: Overlooked and often dismissed as a formality, we view the due diligence & referencing process as crucial. Our proprietary tools and mechanisms are value-add.
  • Onboarding: Developed in partnership with Onboarding Services LLC, a Socius engagement includes a weekly and systematic onboarding of the newly placed leader. This process also engages the hiring executive and optimizes the placed executive's first months with our client organization.
