Regardless of the position or sector, every Socius engagement balances executing a customized solution along with applying our proven and repeatable process. This process, which is under permanent, continuous improvement, is the result of our extensive experience along with the five decades of retained search expertise of our Advisory Board. The details and nuances are proprietary and too numerous to list in their entirety here, however, the structure can be distilled in three main components of client value-add.

I. DISCOVERY: an in-depth organizational assessment that allows us to construct a customized position description that, when filled with the right executive, will close the gap between where the organization is today and where it wishes to go.

II. SEARCH: a comprehensive, targeted and proactive recruitment effort that will result in a short-list 'slate' of highly qualified, fit-focused candidates.

  • Individual candidate assessments
  • Client interview facilitation

III. SELECTION: our value-add method of partnering with clients in ranking the finalist candidates. Executive selection, from a competitive slate of candidates, is made by distilling information from three critical data points: Socius interview assessment, client interview assessment and (perhaps most importantly) from our thorough due diligence engineered to predict performance in your role.

Of course, we stay manage the process through offer, acceptance, start-date and offer a complementary onboarding process to optimize the candidate's first months on the job.
