Shouldn't a Nonprofit Recruiting Firm Demonstrate It's Own Superb Community Commitment?

Our growing nonprofit sector practice is built on a strong foundation of our own firm’s community commitment. We believe a firm that serves non-profit organizations should authenticate its offering with a significant and growing community commitment of its own. While we are proud of our comprehensive track record of giving back, following are a few highlights for your consideration:

  • Pillar Award Winner, 2006: Awarded to only 12 organizations annually, the Pillar Award honors companies that positively impact Northeast Ohio communities through charitable giving, volunteerism and support; and showcase best practices in the link between the for-profit and nonprofit worlds.
  • Board Service: Socius Principals Rob Huxtable and Jason Peterson both serve on multiple nonprofit Boards.
  • Pro-Bono Non-Profit Placements: Socius maintains a no-cost recruitment offering to select non-profit partners.
  • Race To Remember: Socius launched this annual running race in 2007 with all net proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association Greater Cleveland Chapter.
  • LeadDIVERSITY: Socius partner Robert C. Huxtable is a recently announced member of this organization’s 2007-08 leadership class.
  • Socius DiversiSlate: Proprietary Socius mechanism designed to deliver a slate of executive candidates that represent gender and ethnic diversity.
  • Business Volunteers Unlimited: Socius is a long-time supporter and participant of BVU and has benefited from continuing education in the best practices of non-profits across a variety of issues and challenges. BVU training includes a litany of in-depth coursework and infrastructure facilitated by recognized community and business leaders.
  • Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Membership: Our active membership provides sector support, keeps Socius current along with providing interaction with Development-minded leaders.
